St. Vincent DePaul Parish
1408 South 10th Street
Saint Louis, MO 63104
When will St. Vincent's re-open?
As you are aware, both the Archdiocese and the City of St. Louis made plans for limited re-opening beginning on Monday, May18th, with restrictions and pre-conditions.
We were not be able to meet those pre-conditions by May 18th. We are still working to implement adequate safety measures but we will not open until all of those measures are in place and fully operational. We are also currently doing some unrelated work in church right now that will prevent us from opening until sometime after Trinity Sunday, maybe not until late June. We will keep you informed on our progress.
A few additional things to note:
- our Parish Hall falls in the "dining halls and conference rooms" category and as such, cannot be re-opened during phase one of eased restrictions. We will not be having coffee and donuts, senior bingo, senior dinner-dance, Let's Start, or other gatherings. We still cannot use our Hall for our Meals Program. That will continue to be done thru the window.
- our Suds of Love Program will not be re-starting yet; we would have too many people in a small space and not be able to maintain social distancing. This would put us in violation of the City's restrictions.
We look forward to being able to safely gather again. Thank you for your prayers and your patience.
-- Sincerely, Father Ed & the parish staff --
